Photographer's Note

A while back, Bulent Atalay posted a great photo of this underground passageway between the East and West Galleries of the National Museum of Art. I was in DC yesterday with some time to kill after meetings, so I went to the museum and when I saw this corridor, I remembered Bulent's shot and thought I would try my own. I think his is better, but this is what I've got. Or, let's say it's my interpretation. Also, this shot is looking east, and Bulent's was looking west. The lights are a piece of artwork, and they move according to the artist's intention.

Technical: Slight tilt correction with crop. Incidentally, EV was -1.67. Levels work so it looks brighter on TE (which tends to darken shots like this).
