Denali on a fine day, a photo from Alaska, West

Photographer's Note

When we drove north to Denali it was cloudy and we didn't realise how good the view of the great mountain, Denali, (North America's highest) can be.
On the way south past Cantwell we discovered that on a clear day the view is quite amazing. There wasn't a cloud to be seen (most unusual) so we just sat beside the road and enjoyed the view (Oh, and snapped the odd photo or 10).

Best in the large view.

This looks every bit as spectacular as Mount Cook in New Zealand or the Annapurnas in Nepal. Good sharpness and smart choice of a wide angled panoramic frame. Tfs!

A beautiful panoramic photo of this serene mountain landscape.
A nice wide format and an attractive structure from dark to light in the horizontal layers closed with the clear blue sky.
Certainly a view to pause for a while.

Hello Ian,
A gorgeous view of those impressive mountains. The light was perfect and gave such a wonderful glow to the rough and snow-capped peaks. The contrast with the darker mountains in the foreground is very good as well.
