Photographer's Note

Nome is small gold rush town in Alaska. Situated on the Bering Strait, close to Russia, there are plenty of relics of the gold rush, including this trains, saloons and this, the largest of the many dredgers at 7 stories high. Being abandoned I had a good old climb all over it and took pictures from inside and on the towers :)

A little enhancing in photoshop took place. Levels, and foreground composition.
