Yep I got it. Set up the camera with a 8 sec Tv, on a trypod and hold your breath! Too much fun, unless you are at the end of the strike!

Very good work Rich. The color and texure of the cloud great. Even my new camera won't be able to takes shots like this (too bad) Thanks for sharing

WOW!!! I remember the first pic... this looks a LOT closer!!. You are very brave Rich. A criket player was killed here in Australia last weekend by lightning :( Not to be messed with. Very well captured.

Yeah, you got it Rich. Very good to have such a capture. There is something in the edges of the lightning. Mayby it is the sharpening or the enlargement, I don't know!?

Very nice shot! I agree it is fun to capture lightning photos. I was able to capture 2 good ones during a perfect storm but then it got too dangerous. You could check out my lightning shots if you want to.
