Photographer's Note
Leavenworth Washington is the Bavarian tourist-town of the Pacific Northwest located near the Eastern Edge of the Cascade Mountain range in Central Washington State.
The entire town carries the German theme from their food and entertainment to the design of nearly all of the buildings.
Pictured is the younger Mr Johnson of the Enzian Inn. Each and every morning at 8:15 Am and 9:15 AM either Jr or Sr Johnson stands on the railing edge and blows out a couple tunes on this long horn much to the delight of the many breakfast eating onlookers at the Enzian Inn and on the street below.
If you visit Washington State and desire a piece of the "old country" without having to travel to Europe, then Leavenworth is the town for you.
God's best,
Tim

Und er trägt auch Lederhosen. This shot reminds me of the wonderful times I had in the Bavarian Alps. Nicely composed shot, with the angle of the horn matching the slope of the mountain. Good job!

Yes this photo is nicely composed, with bright colors, very appropriate given the theme. Looks like Germany to me!

Hey Tim ! !
Great shot and why is that ? Because of the diagonal line of the slope of the mountain in the back, because of the diagonal line of the slope of the mountain in the foreground, because of the diagonal line of the horn in the foreground, this is very funny and this is not Germany, that's funny too !
