Photographers Note
'Devils Tower is a monolithic igneous intrusion or volcanic neck located in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County, northeastern Wyoming, above the Belle Fourche River. It rises dramatically 1,267 feet (386 m) above the surrounding terrain and the summit is 5,112 feet (1,558 m) above sea level.
The Tower is sacred to several Native American Plains tribes, including the Lakota Sioux, Cheyenne and Kiowa.
In recent years, climbing Devils Tower National Monument has increased in popularity, although the tower has been climbed for centuries.

Hi ALESSANDRO,
This is an amazing monolith and I will always remember this part of Wyoming because this was one of my favorite National Monuments. I can still imagine seeing all those prairie dogs and being careful for those snakes that sometimes hide in the holes.
Thanks for sharing. Well-done.
