Photographer's Note

This is a picture of an American National Historical Landmark. It shows a portion of the main building of the Martin House Complex in Buffalo, NY, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1955), "the greatest American architect of all time". The complex, comprising six interconnected buildings, was constructed between 1904 and 1905 for Darwin and Isabelle Martin as their home. Martin was a rich business executive at that time, a patron and life long friend of Wright. The house is a good example of Wright's “Prairie House” concept for residential buildings. The complex is open for guided tours for visitors and have a variety of spaces available for events, such a weddings, elegant dinners or business meetings. This is a view from the south-east of the main building, I put pictures of it from two other POV into the Workshop.
