Photographer's Note

This is taken in Palouse country. The Palouse is a remarkable area of undulating agricultural farmland extending from Wanatchee in the west of Washington state to the Idaho border, and from Spokane in the north to the Oregon border in the south. It is referred to as the 'Corn Belt' of America.

The very large field of rapeseed (canola) was next to the 'Artisans at Dahmen Barn' in Uniontown, WA. This small town is 16 miles north of Lewiston.
