Photographer's Note

This is a view from Goat Rock Beach. It was quite a rocky coast along the costal line in this section. I believe that straight ahead distance coastal line is part of Point Reyes National Seashore. (Note: Thanks to correction from Mike, aka mpr, it is, actually, Bodega Head instead of Point Reyes)

I was wondering what is the cyan patch ahead when I took this picture. I found it out that it was a large plastic sheet to protect sliding of the shoreline since it was a heavy raining season.
