Photographer's Note

Ocean Grove is on the south coast of Victoria, Australia.

Every summer thousands of people go there to spend their annual holidays, either camping in the scrub or staying in 'holiday villas' (small bungalows).

The main attraction of the area is the beach and the fact that it's only an hour and a half from the capital city.

In the mid-background of this shot you can see the red and yellow patrol flag, indicating that the surf lifesavers are on duty. From early childhood, Australian children are taught to "swim between the flags", most don't bother.
