Photographer's Note

This is a Ghost Gum, so named because under the light of the moon they appear silvery-white, giving it a ghostly appearance. It is situated in the Palm Valley located 19 km south of Hermannsburg in the Northern Territory's Finke Gorge National Park. As can be seen thase trees are excellent survivors, some clinging to the rocky outcrops managing to get sustenance and water somehow.
