In a Silver-Lead mine
An alternative title: Everything(body) becomes tired

The photo was taken in Talisker Mine located 4.75 km East of Cape Jervis and 25 km SW of Normanville. It was a Silver-Lead mine.

The Talisker Mine opened in June, 1862, during the following few years (until 1890) several other interests were opened in the immediate vicinity, these are all now part of the Talisker Conservation Park and are included as one mine for most publications.
All were Silver lead mines except Cooalinga Creek Gold Diggings, which has no recorded figures for Gold returns. Campbell’s Creek also returned small amounts of Copper mineralisation along with the Silver-Lead content, which was the smallest amount of the four Silver-Lead mines. More from the source ...
