Photographer's Note

I did post another photo from this spot a few years ago but this one gives a closer view of the seals and is much higher resolution. The huge Admirals Arch is at Cape du Couedic on the SW corner of Kangaroo island.
For French TE members you'll be interested to know that Cape du Couedic was named after a French naval officer, Charles Louis du Couedic in 1803.
The arch is a favourite with fur seals. How many can you spot? You'll need the larte view. By my count of clearly visible seals there are at least 6 on the rocks on the left and another 6 on the rocks to the right.
At the bottom is one leaving the water and there are at least 2 in the water. There are a couple of other lumps in the water that may also be seals.

Best in the large view.
