Photographer's Note

When I was learning to fly, our 'training area' included this waterski park.

Perth, in Western Australia, is sometimes described as a 'water playground' with excellent rivers, lakes and a protected inlet of the Indian Ocean called Gage Roads all available for watersports. The climate is similar to the South Coast of France.

Given all this, WHY would anyone put a waterski park only 5 MINUTES DRIVE FROM THE BEACH!

Anyway, I like this photo mostly because of the wakes of the ski boats, especially the one running in circles.

The colours, by the way, are accurate. That's what Western Australia looks like in December (early summer).
