Photographer's Note

All that remains of this waterfall, near Winto, in the dry season is a pool at the base. This is on the edge of what in Australia is a "jump up". They accour when you are moving across a flat plain and come across a sudden rise to a slightly higher plain.
The site has also got a very dark past as well. It was the site of an massacre of a large number of Aboriginals in the 19th century as graziers tried to clear them off land to open the land up for grazing sheep.
