Photographer's Note

One more impression of the beautiful Kings Park. Here you can see the lemon-scented gums trees (Corymbia citriodora) along Fraser Avenue, the main entrance leading into the inner Botanical Garden. The tree plants were transported in 1938 from the east coast of Australia as replacement to the red-flowering gums (Corymbia ficifolia) which succumbed to patch-canker disease.
