Photographer's Note
Taken from a beach on the southern 'Gold Coast'not far from Coolangatta, again experimenting with ND & GND filters to give the effect seen here, on the horizon can be seen the high rises of 'Surfers Paradise'.

Hi Ian, Welcome back and thanks for bring back your signature style of photos. I enjoy your long exposure photos. This is another good example of what a long exposure can do. I enjoy the cloud-like waves showing in this picture. A well composed image with nice effects,

Hi Ian
The slow speed has given a fabulous misty effect here, and I love the soft turquoise hues. Nice detail of Surfers Paradise on the horizon too.

Hi Ian,
A very great atmosphere picture, very well with these F/5.6 and 6 seconds, is very long but a great result, misty gives a apart feeling above the water, exactly a picture out of a plane above the clouds high at the heaven.
Thank a lot,
John.

The effect of your long exposure is incredibly beautiful Ian! It looks like mists engulfing the rocks not water. The high ises on the horizon brings you back to reality n this mystical picture.

Serwus Ian !
Your gallery is impressive and You're skilfully make a fantastic use of light and exposure' effects. This one is a good proof. Dominating turquoise is absolutely extraordinary in this scenery. Colours and mist make here some unreal atmosphere. Good idea of framing also, well positioned rocks in the compo.
Thank You,
Mat

Hi Ian, Good misty effect in this composition. The sand in the foreground looks a good colour. The POV makes this an interesting photo. Murray.

Wonderfull colors and fine long exposure to get that soft water as contrast to the rocks fading away in the mist still showing the mountain at the horizont, a very remarkable colortone, well done Ian, I like it a lot.

You have the tendency to add a sense of mysticism or surrealism to your landscape work Ian. Which by the way, what I meant by thoughtful. Instead of just shooting something which is interesting enough, you need to add "yourself" into it. A better photo is not just well exposed and composed but pretty much well defined by the photographer itself.

Hi Ian - the beach looks so wild and deserted, the highrises on the horizon appear like a mirage, I like the effect the long exposure makes in the waves.

A beautifull light blue color in the whole image, both the sea and what I believe is a sandy beach in the foreground. The sea had a very unusual but interesting texture, as if covered by fog or mist, but it is probably not fog since the horizon is rather clear.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Bonjour Ian,
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Ian,
A very voluptuous photograph, I like much the image processing which gives the impression to us to be in a dream. The depth of the image is very appreciable and I like this blurred urban horizon. Splendid glance, Ian cheer and thank you.
With all my friendships and with soon,
Jean-Charles
