Photographer's Note

I saw all three the biggest waterfalls on Earth and you can believe me - Iguazu is the most wonderful gorgeous, magnificent - no words to tell about them. I have already posted a few photos but they deserve to be shown many times. it is the view of the Argentinian side. There are many view points there, you can spend there easily half a day walking around on many platforms and paths. Is it only mine imagination or you also see the strange face there on the foreground?
For me, one of the worlds wonders, something different than Grand Canyon but overwhelming in the same way. (It IS ranked as one of the nature seven wonders.)

The name "Iguazu" comes from the Guarani or Tupi words "y", meaning "water", and "ĂťasĂş , meaning "big". (Big water, haha). Legend has it that a deity planned to marry a beautiful woman named NaipĂ, who fled with her mortal lover TarobĂĄ in a canoe. In a rage, the deity sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall.
The first European to record the existence of the falls was the Spanish conquistador Álvar Núùez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541.

Big beta version.
