The Church of Our Lady D'Ajuda
Alto Maranhăo District - Congonhas - MG

According to residents, one of the causes may be as tremors caused by explosions in a quarry nearby.

The Church of Our Lady D'Ajuda was built in 1746.

Its four side altars keep the right images of St. Anthony, Our Lady Aparecida, St. Benedict, St. Efigęnia, St. Peter and Our Lady Conceived.

On the left are the images of St. Sebastian, Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Francis of Assisi, Our Lord of Passos and San Roque.

The vestry has an altar with images of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Lord of the steps, and a beautiful fountain in soapstone.

The main altar guard the image of Our Lady D'Ajuda.

The bell appears to be laterally separated from the Church.
