Palácio do Quitandinha, in Petropolis. Built in 1944 to be the biggest casino hotel in Latin America, is in Norman style, very present in the architecture of Petrópolis due to the German colonization.

por incrível que pareça havia muitas casas com os telhados iguais aos deste castelinho-cassino aqui no borró, herança dos imigrantes que vieram pra cá, com o passar dos anos todos foram demolidos e năo sobrou sequer um deles. lembro deste prédio, eu o vi quando fui de petrópolis para o rio. muito boa a luz, o pov e enquadramento, mostram bem o local e a sua graça

O Quitandinha é realmente um show, e casa muito bem com o clima e o local onde foi construído. A moldura feita das folhagens mostra o cuidado com a composiçăo.

A very impressive and superb edifice. The POV is very well seleectd and give an impression of symetry. The POV with the lake and the green give a great depht to the image.

This is an interesting piece of hotel architecture!
Many fine details in the massive structure, and I notice the fine location of the hotel...

Hi Paulo,

Strange feeling with this photograph, one would be believed in Deauville in France with this so typical architecture !!! Impressive hotel by its size and which is integrated well in the landscape. Good point of view with this foreground which gives depth and an appreciable light, well done Paulo.

buena foto de arquitectura en este encuadre, el bonito edificio flanqueado por las ramas a ambos lados crea una composición muy atractiva a la vista.
Me gusta el estilo arquitectónico de este palacio y su contraste con el paisaje que lo rodea.
