Photographer’s Note
Hallo again everyone.
Today I would like to share with you an image, which is one of my favourites from Scotland. Glencoe is said to be the most beautiful spot in the whole of the Highlands and personaly I must say it is so. Only the Isle of Skye can match its beauty and be nearly equaly as magnificent. The rocky summits growing emerging on both sides of the Glen make an unforgettable impression. Here I've been trying to show you how mere and insignificant are the trees compared to the mountains above. This image has been developed from RAW in a bit of a HDR manner - I've developer one version for the lights to preserve the skye and the other for the shadows. Hope you like it!

Hello again Michal,
Your viewpoint succeeds in conveying the grandeur of these mountain slopes. The fine detail of the trees and your handing of the sky and the shadows add interest to your dramatic image.
Regards,
Mary

Well, there is certainly little more you could have done to take our breath away with this fine play of shadow and light; of the majestic, lofty sweep of the land contrasted with the insignificant trappings of civilization and even of those magnificent trees which, set against the dramatic rise above them, find themselves cowed into silence. Great! Lynn
