Small Temple in Lamphun Photo

Photographers Note

Lamphun is a small town in North Thailand... We went there for a day trip from Chiang Mai on my motorbike...
A storm was coming and we took shelter near this small temple... light was quite weak... But the colors were still strong...

Lamphun est une petite ville du Nord de la Thaďlande...
On y est allé pour la journée, ŕ moto...
Un orage approchait et nous nous sommes abrités prčs de ce petit temple... la lumičre était relativement faible, mais il y avait toujours de belles couleurs...

Bonjour Laurent,

Bon choix de prise de vue ici avec cet avant plan de "tomettes" donne une belle perspective et profondeur ŕ l'image. Effectivement beaucoup de couleurs ce qui donne un agréable contraste avec ce ciel bien chargé... D'ailleurs ils ont pensé ŕ tout, męme au parapluie ŕ bouddha !!! Belle et intéressante photo, merci Laurent.

Les couleurs somptueuses se voient particuličrement sous ce ciel gris trčs beau. La netteté de la photo facilite la vision des détails.La composition est excellente. Le sol "éloigne" agréablement le monument. Bravo.

Even without sun and with that dark sky, you mangaed to have a good light here and a good photo. I like its sharpness, colours and mainly the way you put the colourful pavement in foreground, leading us to the temple.

intéressant 1er plan sur le dallage qui entraine le regard sur le Bouddha et qui contraste superbement bien avec le ciel chargé. Cadrage bien fait incluant les arbres de chaque coté de l'image et encadrant ainsi la pagode et le Bouddha.

Against the dark sky, the golden colour of the wat stands out well. Like your low POV to make the perspective created by the tiles dominant, leading to Buddha & the Wat. well conceived and taken

Bien cadré ce temple avec une bonne utilisation du graphisme du sol, il est bien mis lui aussi en valeur avec ce premier plan et ces lignes qui mčnent le regard sur le point fort, bien vu.

Two pictures in one picture. On the upper side a traditional scene of this beautiful small temple, on the lower side the strong pattern of dark green and red tiles. Combined together in one attractive, well balanced composition.

Hello Laurent,
Despite the poor weather conditions the shot is full of bright colors and light, which seems to be generated by the statue and the temple. This effect is increased by the foreground, where the rows of paving slabs look like rays. Excellently chosen composition and perfect photographic quality!

fascinating the depth of the pavement as the graphical effect created by the black and pink bars on the floor.The best i like is the perspective,the clarity of the depth, as the small temple on the background with the statue of Buddha on the left.Well done.

rentré de voyage a ce que je vois mais marilyn est plus active que toi, le cadrage de ce pavé est top car il guide l'oeil sur le bouddah et le temple, le ciel orageux donne du contraste
