The Romance time and the beginning of the Average Age were periods of extension of the population and clearings. A certain number of hamlets and farmhouse develop. This period is obviously marked by the fortification of the site of Lussan under the impulse of the lords of the place, Audibert whose seigneuriale family will bind her name to that of Lussan during more than five centuries.
