Photographers Note
Somewhere in Rajasthan, a very small and dusty village: I was attracted by the smoke and looked inside a door. I found this old couple..She was cooking and he was waiting for the meal to be served. Probably one of the poorest homes I ever visited.

Wonderful portrait, Izzet,
I like the watchful expressions of both people and the nice diagonal they are on. Incredible color, perfect DOF, mad good detail - especially in the man's clothing, excellent light and contrast. The bright yellow turban is an eyecatcher and then you see all the other wonderful parts. This is beautiful. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

There is such a dignity which comes through in your portrait of this man - yet it also appears to say something about their relationship within its cultural context - a masterful juxtaposition - the linkage of the three strong colours across the frame unites the image so well giving such a nice balance between the two figures and their relative importance to the composition.
best wishes Kev

Merhaba Izzet.
THis is classic composition and portrait and colours and exposure, as also the DOF, are great.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

A simple photo of a simple life....but results are great. I like the clash of colors. Their looks suggest friendliness...the kind of people you like to meet when travelling. Makes me want to be there in your shoes!
Nice work

Izzet..selamm..
funny how the last image i commented on had a similar structure..a woman in red in the bg..behind the main sunject..i preferred this over cales's portrait..this has a sense of depth..a story..stronger in compositon..did you taste what she had cooked..
nice work my friend..these experiences will bind you for a lifetime..

Good evening Izzet
I like the compo on 2 different planes, the colors of the saree and the turban a&s well as the general mood of the image. Too bad really that the focus on the face at the FG is not perfect
best regards
Have a nice WE

Dear Izzet,
It is great to see you posting these old pictures.
A beautifully captured double, telling us the story of the most of India. The look makes this shot special.
Greetings from a windy Trieste,

hello Izzet,
I share Kev Ryan's view that there is great dignity here. This coupe's tradtional relationship with the woman cooking shown well. Great colours and composition.

Hello Izzet,
Un superbe portrait, avec un bon réglage de la profondeur de champs; le jaune donne un touche de gaieté et de dynamisme ŕ la scčne.
