A modern tram in Istanbul.
In the BG, Hagia Sophia.

Hagia Sophia is an ancient christian basilicum constructed in the VIth eeuw. In 1453, Constantinople was conquered by the Ottoman Turks and Hagia Sophia was converted in a mosque. To day, the edifice is a museum.

Hello Roger,
Good contrast here between the ultra-modern tram and the ancient mosque in the background. I like the curving perspective accentuated by the tram itself and the line of bollards. Good sharpness.

Hio Roger, Modern tram so close to Hagia Sophia! I would prefer to see Hagia Sophia without these cables and poles. nice photo with many curved lines.

La courbe du tramway est un atout ŕ la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'ancienne Basilique Sainte-Sophie convertie en une mosquée. Le ciel nuageux donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Hi Roger,
Good TE shot, it tells me a lot about this ancient/modern city.
Composition is good, the tram contrasting against the Hagia Sophia makes your point of the shot visually.

Bonjour Roger,
J'éprouve une certaine satisfaction d'apprendre que cette ancienne basilique chrétienne du VIčme sičcle, n'est plus un lieu de culte, et est d'un usage plus neutre, et culturel.
Le cadrage du tram est excellent, dans un contexte captivant. Bravo.

il est amngigique ce tram, il passe devant St.-Sophier, avec de belle couleur, le petits drapeaux, la belle cozure, ce graphisme de fils, sueprbe image.

Hi Roger

Your train proves we have not been in Istanbul for more then 20 years! Thanks for sharing that I'm a bit more updated about the mass transit system they now have in Istanbul. This train looks very modern but it fits into the city. It also sets a nice contrast as you did not have a very good weather - no need for sunshine or blue sky with this train, isn't it? Sharpness and color hues are fine, well done
