Haw Par Villa - Singapore Photo

Photographers Note

Haw Par Villa, Singapore is a 'Disneyesque' theme park, with live entertainment, boat rides (the boats emmerge from the dragons mouth above) audio visual theatres, etc. Taken from the street entrance bus stop on a cloudy overcast day. It appears the dragon was removed in December 2003, as it wasn't part of the original design.

Perhaps a local can tell me if 'Clementi' is the correct district? I'm not sure.

The dragon here above wonderful of colour Chris, the sharpness great of quality, the people on the foreground together with the two small houses give a very nice composition.
I like story together with my granddaughter.

i remember this beast, it was huge, yes where Tigerbalm was made by the brothers, really colourful and good framing too well done

Interesting and colorful catch to show the Singapore variation of a theme park. The folks in front of the booths give us a very good understanding of the dimensions that apply for this scene. Well captured, Chris.

Almost terrifying this grand dragon on top of this entrance. Good perspective and nice inclusion of the people there to see some sizing.

A fine view Chris - I like your composition and the presence of people - Thanks for this colourful image - I actually got something similar on store - but it can't compete with this - however will I post it some day when I got the time.
