Photographers Note

From Chios harbour, looking at the çesme peninsula where I spent childhood summers. This kind of shot could be from anywhere, so I only add a general introduction to Chios island from the internet(don't believe the temperatures not exceeding 32 degrees part):

Chios is one of the islands of the north-east Aegean, very close to Asia Minor and opposite to Erithrea peninsula, seperated from it by the Chios canal. The country consists of 10 municipalities, most of which were formed after the joining of small communities.
The climate of Chios is typical of the Mediterranean, with usual north or north-west winds and temperatures not exceeding 31 or 32 degrees Celcius. Merchant marine plays a very important role in the economy of Chios. The main port is the one of the city of Chios, but there are also some of secondary importance, those of Lagada, Marmaro and Mesta.
One of the most important products of Chios island is mastic, which is uniquely produced on it, it is famous and world - widely renowned for its aroma and taste. It is uniquely cultivated in Mastihohora and about 120 tons of it are exported to other countries.

Hi Tan,
today I have'nt had time to see the TE monday photos, but before going to sleep I have not been able to resist don't criticize this one. Blue sky and red sea, perfect combination of nature colours, The composition having the sun out of center, and 1/3 of the image occupied by the sea is really well done and with a very clear and sharp view, seeing the silhouettes of the harbour and the little lighthouse very well. I like to see this red horizontal line of sunlight under the grey cloud, and of course the gold reflection of the sunset. Thanks Tan, this is a very romantic shot, and it goes directly to my favorites.
It is the perfect view to see before I begin to dream!

This is an impressive sunset. Very good colors and contrasts.
The reflection of the sun on the water is excellent.

Hi Tan. Another beautiful scene from you. I love the simplicity of this shot, but its magnetic effect. The distant mountains are shrouded with mist, it appears. The reflection on the water subtly casts its glow; the upper clouds are of magnificent colours. The little light adds a further touch. Very artistic, and full of mood. Well captured.

Wonderously beautiful sunrise photograph. Very well composed with exellents colors and sharpness. Wonderful reflections on the calm water and i also like the dark clouds on the bleu sky.

A beautiful sunrise, Tan! This sky is fantastic and I love the upper part of it, with smooth colours, as well as the strong reflection of the sun on the sea. The POV is also very good, so I liked this good job!

On ne se lasse pas de voir le soleil se coucher, un peu comme le Petit Prince de SaintExupery. Cette photo de coucher est réussie. J'aime le ciel encore bleu avec de beaux nuages au sommet de la photo puis au niveau du soleil ces couleurs de feu qui se reflčtent si bien sur la mer.
