Photographers Note

Monks with saffron colored robes, sell religious artifacts and souvenirs in front of the great Wat Po temple at Bangkok. Here the idea was to take the statue sharp and the monk in the back unsharp. Therefore I used a full open aperture, and focussed on the statue. But suddenly one of the men around wanted to arrange and turn the statue for a better picture according to him. I caught his intruding hand.

izzet bay merhaba,
great idea for this shot - isolating with the dof the figure/hand composition but leaving enoght depth to recognize the man in the background;
very symbolic artwork;

Focus direk heykelciğin yüzene yapılmış.
elin iç kısmında kişinin aslında yaşam tarzını görmek mümkün. Çok hoşuma gitti bu resim.

Pro work all the way, Izzet. Lovely use of bokeh for subtle effect here. Quite brilliant - I am shocked more people are not screaming about this because it is remarkable what you are doing: three grades of focus - the deep bokeh of the monk and his background, front partial bokeh of the buddha statue and full-on focus on the hand. None of it by chance.

Sevgili Üstad,

Sık sık bu site fotografcilara olumlu mu olumsuz mu etki yapıyor diye düsünmekteyim.

Deneysellige ve ozellikle ifadecilige tepki var sanki. Buna bir örnek de bu fotografa az ilgi gösterilmesi.

Derin derin düşünülebilecek bilesenler tasiyan bu fotografiniza saygilarimi sunuyorum.

Mutlaka bir elestiri yapmak gerekirse... bir kac derece sola cevrilebilirdi gibi geldi.
