Team work in Angkor Photo

We had arrived very early like scores other visitors because we wanted to see the sunrise behind the spires of Angkor Wat. Later on,wwhen the sun was already high , I realized that many female workers had arrived everywhere. Apparently they were a team in charge of cutting the high grass in this area. I have already posted one similar picture a few weeks ago, and today I am sending one where these workers and the ruins of the so called " Library of Angkor " can be seen in the background.

Oh what a lovely shot, such a good idea to catch these workers set off against the old temple.

Hello izzet,
Excellent composition. The architectural ruins and the dry grass are giving attractive effects. The grass cutters packed with thir head shows the heatwave there.
Good contrast and saturation.

C'est vraiment une vision originale d'Angkor Wat; Les temples au milieu des moissons.
Je n'avais jamais vu ce spectacle. Bravo d'ętre tombé au bon moment et d'avoir partagé cet instant.

Great shot, nice light and great composition. I like the fact of having the temple on the background, but it is not the most important subject on the image.

Hi Izzet. A well-found scene with the woman workers cutting the grass in front of the remains of the old building. I like the subtle light in this one, and the human interest makes this a memorable impression from one of SE Asia's most photographed areas.

What a majextic view of that part of the temple. The workers in the foreground actually serve to enhance the majestic ruins...as if they bow to its glory

Hi Izzet.

I see your Korea pictures and I see this one and I don't find any difference exept they are 50 years apart. Amasing how some things don't change, like the way people work in the fields. And the inclusion of the library gives this picture that old look, too.

I like how now the old ruins are brought back to life.
Such a good composition - the light even in full sun as you say, is lovely, not harsh. I notice you have your WB set for cloudy and not sun, do you do this often?

i remember seeing this exact scene at angor what last year, this is a great capture of the moment, really well done, thanks for posting, cheers, james
