Above the rooftops Photo

Photographers Note

This cloud formation slowly drifted past my son's bedroom yesterday morning.....

No filters used, I darkened the top of the sky in Picasa2 using the graduated tint feature which (hopefully) gives a similar effect to using a polarizer.

Under exposed by one third of a stop

Lots of drama in the sky for this one, Vicky! The inclusion of rooftops and nothing else is a bold choice--but it works for me.

Hi Vicky. I agree with David. The simplicity of the composition works well and allows us to focus our attention on this amazing sky. On the other hand the rooves seem to anchor the shot and the colour of the terracotta tiles adds nice contrast. I like it:)

"Le ciel par dessus les toits..." Verlaine en a fait un počme et Vicky une belle photo. C'est vrai qu'un photographe ne regarde pas le ciel comme les autres et que c'est un sujet ŕ part entičre.

Bonjour Vicky,
le PP a l'air de fonctionner ŕ merveilles pour similer le polarisant. Il crée seulement pas mal de bruit dans le ciel que tu aurais pu atténuer.
J'aime beaucoup les ciles particuliers et je vais ajouter celui-ci ŕ ma collection.
