Photographers Note

Unirii is one of the widest and the most megalomanic boulevards in Europe(4km long and 120m wide supposedly to outshine the Champs Elysées). It was built during the communist regime as a part of the "New Look" that was designd to Bucharests center by Ceausescu.... whole neighborhood (including some historical monuments) were destroyed so that the project will be built.
The fountains are being repaired and restored, and even though the concrete is crumbling and the fake marble pavements fading, the apartments here command premium prices. Dominating the end of the Bulevard is the massive, horrendous Palace of Parliament, said to be the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon

A really impressing view! This night-shot with all it's lights is - I think - much more impressing than the same scenery at day. Interesting is the rest of daylight over the huge building. A fascinating picture!

beautiful view, impressive sight, Bucharest and Romania should be proud to have such architectural monument. Although its legacy isn't as shiny, this will definitely be one of top attractions in Bucharest, if it's not already.
I liked ncie perspective and good note you wrote within, keep writing such good notes.

Hi Isabela. A good evening shot from this familiar-looking area :) The perspective towards the Casa Poporului is emphasized by the symmetric framing and the converging lines of the headlights and taillights of the cars. Good sharpness and details for this handheld photo.

et bien, il y en a du trafic. Etonnant , on n'aurait jamais cru Bucarest aussi mouvementée.
Beaucoup de mouvement avec ce flou au premier plan.
Un excellent cadrage qui nous met au coeur de l'action.

cred ca cel mai fain a ieshit unghiul, pentru ca-tzi da impresia ca este undeva la munte. norii din spate potzi jura ca sunt crestele muntzilor, chiar shi arborii de pe marginea bulevardului shi cladirea, dau impresia ca eshit intre dealuri

Super vederea in unghi inchis asupra Palatului Parlamentului! Faptul ca ai fotografiat noaptea ii mareste dimensiunile prin lumina. De asemenea, sa lasi atit de mult din cer mi se pare inspirat. Felicitari, Isa!

the composition is cool but in my opinion its very dark to undertand that the crazy taffic.
