I quess sparrow is a very common bird in Hungary?
If it is so your great shot is a good example of how also a common bird can be a great subject for a nature shot. I like how the colors of the background work with the colors of the birds. Excellent composition and DOF. Those red berries are a nice addition bringing some color to those brown tones. Very well done and welcome...

A beautiful composition with the branch and two birds in a slight diagonal contrasting on a very nice blurred background. The berries, botht the sharp ones and the ones in the background, really adds a nice touch of color to this pic. Very very nice.
Could it be a little sharper on the sparrows? probably, but as it is the light softness is also fine to me.

Dear Jozsef, what a very nice picture. Welcome to TE. The use of DOF can be taken for a book to explain how this works. The colours are nice with only the "cherries" standing out. Composition is good with the sparrows at both sides. Hope to see more of your pictures. To write an info text is usually very nice. And don't forget to start writing critiques :) Yours, Jan

They are adorable these two small birds. The colors are very beautiful and the depth of field is really well studied. A pretty graphics with it is branch decorated with red fruits.

Lovely shot! I think this is the best photo of sparrows that I can remember seeing on TE! The warm tonal range of the background complements the subject matter perfectly, and the berries add a touch of interest and colour to the scene. Your DOF is perfect, and the catchlight in the eye of the left hand sparrow works wonderfully. The only thing I might be tempted to do is sharpen their feathers a little more, but that's just a matter of taste. Excellent work :-D

Adorable birds. And I can't imagine to find a better background for them. The repetitive pattern of the (nicely softly focussed) berries behind them is absolutely enchanting! I just love it...
