Photographer’s Note
Bafa Lake (also known as Camici Lake) was once (2,000 years ago) part of the Aegean Sea. That´s why the water is still a bit salty. The antique town of Herakleia is situated on the shore of this lake, and there are also ruins on the many islands in the lake. On the place of the antique town, there is now a village named "Kapikiri". The area is a paradise for birds and other animals.

Hi Gisi, this is a lovely site I like to visit time to time. I hope you also went trekking up the hills to see frescos at monasteries and prehistoric cave paintings. Take care

Hi Gisi, i like the positioning of the boat in this image. You have given thought to the layout of the image nicely by including the green tree at the right. Also adding to your image are ruins in the bg. Your image lacks some contrast though, however overall a nice composition. TFS

Hello Gisi!
Great picture! I like the color of the water and the cacti in the lower right corner. It was good choice to place the boat at the center of the picture, to make it most important part of it.
I guess a bit of sharpening and little enhancement of saturation would do the good thing. Great picture though.

Good composition and DOF, Gisi.
Jarek's WS was a good attempt to increase the sharpness, saturation and contrast, but probably limited by the small file size that you uploaded this at (try using your full 200 kb allowance instead of only 75kb - it can make quite a difference to the technical quality). In addition to what Jarek suggested I would have cropped a little of the sky away to present it in a 3:2 format. Cheers . . . David

This is a very good composition, Gisi. I like the fact that you included the prickly pear cactus, an the castle in the background. Combined with the blue sea and sky your image portrays the side of Turkey that attracts millions of tourists. Nice one! Regards,
Ryno

Hi Gisi,
Love this idyllic spot with the plant life on shore and well defined by the boat and distant ruins.
Regards, Tom
