A Saint-Wandrille, ŕ droite des ruines de l’ancienne église abbatiale s'élčve la chapelle dédiée ŕ Notre-Dame, ŕ la suite d'un voeu formulé par l'Abbé dom Gabriel Gontard le 15 aoűt 1944, aprčs le bombardement du monastčre. Les circonstances ayant interdit de reconstruire cette église ŕ son emplacement primitif, aux sources de la Fontenelle, lŕ oů Wandrille l'avait édifiée au 7čme sičcle, on résolut de bâtir la chapelle intra muros. De 1952 ŕ 1968, les moines l'édifičrent de leurs propres mains. Consacré le 16 juin 1977, cet oratoire se compose d'une nef surmontée d'un petit clocher, et précédée d'un porche, et d'un choeur ŕ chevet plat.
La nef, trčs simple est recouverte d'une sobre charpente. Lŕ, prčs d'une belle Vierge ŕ l'enfant polychrome repose dom Gabriel Gontard (+1986). Le sanctuaire voűté en berceau brisé, est éclairé par des vitraux représentant Notre-Dame-des-Anges, par Decorchemont, saint Wandrille guérissant un agresseur aux sources de la Fontenelle, et dom Gontard et ses moines offrant ŕ la Vierge la chapelle votive.
Dans le prolongement de la chapelle Notre-Dame de Caillouville sont inhumés les moines décédés depuis 1972.

In Saint-Wandrille, on the right of the old abbey church ruins, built the chapel dedicated to Our-Lady according to the wish made by the Abbot dom Gabriel Gontart on the August 15th 1944, after the bombing of the monastery.Circumstances occured forbidding the reconstruction of the church on its original site by the spring of the Fontenelle, where Saint Wandrille had built it in the 7th century; it was decided it should be rebuilt within the walls. Between 1952 and 1968, the monks, with their own hands, built the chapel. It was consecrated on June 16th 1977. The chapel is made up of a nave, surmounted by a small bell tower, a choir with a level apse and a porch.
The very plain nave is covered by a timbered roof. Dom Gabriel Gontart, who died in 1986, is buried near a beautiful polychrome Virgin and Child. The broken-barrel vaulting of the sactuary is lit from the stained glass windows representing Our Lady of the Angels by Decorchemont. Saint Wandrille is healing an aggressor by the Fontenelle spring and dom Gontart and his monks are offering the votive chapel to the Virgin.
Further along the slope behind the Chapel of Our Lady of Caillouville are the graves of the monks who have died since 1972.
