Photographers Note

Este es el pueblo desde el que están tomadas las fotos anteriores. Verdaderamente incrustado en el estrecho Valle del Silencio, hoy está completamente restaurado y es casi un museo por lo bien que se conserva la arquitectura popular. Uno tiene la sensación de ser testigo de épocas anteriores, del silencio del valle. Escena más o menos romántica que, sin embargo, evoca una vida de difícil adaptación al medio y de aislamiento y soledad.

This is Peńalba de Santiago, the village from which the previous photos are taken. Truly lost in the narrow Silence Valley, today it is completely restored and is almost a museum that allows to preserve the popular architecture. One has the sensation of being a witness of previous epochs. More or less romantic scene that, nevertheless, evokes a hard life, needed of a difficult adaptation to ambiance, isolated and lonely.

trčs jolie luminosité sur l'ensemble de la photo ce qui donne une belle profondeur et un relief assez impressionnant. J'aime beaucoup l'impression de me trouver dans cet endroit : trčs beau travail !

Una toma estupenda! Buena composicion con las montanas y las nubes en el parte posterior. Buenas Colores tambien.

Last year we went in a village like this one, near Tabernas.But the whole village was abandonned, except one house, where lived an old man, liking too much el vino rojo.
He is living as they did in the village before the civil war, incredible....
This one is restored,but maybe he is dead too...

WOW ... and another thing ... this is a humbling image .. this is one of those images where first I would never have spotted it .. and even if I did I would have made a big mess of it .. the almost infinite three dimensional depth you have created is just stunning .. this is one I will stare at for a long time

.. the way the two stairs follow the curve of the road .. the way color and texture of the houses work with the mountains ..

Magnifique prise avec la lumičre qui frappe ŕ la porte . Le moment a été bien choisi pour prendre cette image .
La deuxičme chose qui me frappe est sans doute le contraste entre l'âge des maisons et de la technologie avec la quelle la photo a été prise .

This image is superb Angel! It puts this village on my list of "must visit places". The exposure is perfect and evenly balanced to show detail everywhere yet retains good contrast and depth in the picture. Compositionally perfect also and the cloud on the mountain is a great bonus.

Hi Angel, A superb photo the light is magnificent, you have picked up the atmosphere brilliantly well, the colours are perfect & love your POV to draw the eye to the mountains in the back ground but the shot looks so sharp you feel you could count every stone in both the walls & the path, kind regards Wilson.

Lo que más me gusta de esta fotografía es la calidad del enfoque y las texturas, posee un efecto de tres dimensiones muy bueno, parece que estamos allí, se podrían tocar las paredes de las casas, buen control sobre la luz y unos contrastes bien saturados, sin duda un lugar impresionante.

Hi Angel. A beautiful and moody impression from the village. The view along the stone-paved curving road is well used to provide a lead-in for the scene, and the dark sky and resulting color contrasts in the low light are giving a nice atmosphere and an almost timeless aspect to this view. Nice photo.

es una imagen excelente que has compuesto con mucho criterio, buenas proporciones, buena iluminación a pesar del mal tiempo, y con una gran calidad y definición. Los detalles de las piedras, el pavimento de la calle, las texturas en general, son fantásticos, parece que los podamos tocar con sólo extender la mano.
La encuentro preciosa, amigo.

Son impresionantes las fotos y el lugar.
Dan unas ganas tremendas de visitarlo y conocer a fondo este lugar. Además, cuán tranquilo debe de ser vivir aunque fuera solo medio mes en un lugar como éste.

aaah! Angel you paint such a great picture of these mountainous areas of Spain - a lovely composition - the buildings framing the cloud and mountains beyond....very atmospheric.

Increible atmosfera invernal y grandes las textures que consigues con la buena definición. Este tipo de pueblos/aldeas son encantadoras y dan mucho juego. Se que es dificil encontrar a un hombre oscuro pero no perdemos la esperanza, jejeje.

Por cierto es verdad que hemos estado un tiempo desconectados, concretamente lo mio a sido por un problema de trabajo a finales de ańo abandono el proyecto donde he estado metido 5 ańos y la verdad es que no estoy demasiado bien. Por eso mantengo contacto en TE ya que me levanta el animo.

J'ai parlé de toi ŕ un collčgue de travail ( il est Espagole aussi..:).
Tu as raison, la vue et la scčne de la photo est un peu romantique et tendre..j'aime beaucoup d'ailleur cette photo..!
Les couleurs sont belles et il y a une bonne atmosphčre dans cette photo..

żCómo habrá sido la nochevieja en este pueblo? Es algo que me gustaría vivir. Tal vez en un futuro. Hola Angelillo, tengo que ponerme al día con tus fotos. De esta me gusta mucho el aroma a invierno que rezuma, casi se podría decir que huele a leńa ardiendo en el hogar. Mucha quietud y serenidad. Gracias.
