Photographers Note

And then it started to rain. Just a year ago after a great week ful of sunshine just like this week.
While the streets were still glowing, the grass and the trees turned greener and greener with all the freshness spring can give.
I'm off for the weekend tomorrow to Comblain where my wife and two youngest are already. With my eldest son I'm going to ride on bike and I hope the rain will wait until monday like they have predicted.

Hi Gerrit!
This morning on the highway I had rain for a few seconds and when I arrived at work I needed my sunglasses.I hope the rain comes soon,but I wish you and your family a sunny weekend.
Very good shot with fantastic light and a nice curve of the river.Great ,bright green tones and a nice texture of the water.

Hallo Gerrit,
Regen of niet, de foto knalt van verzadiging en dat mag ik heel graag zien. die bomen voor bij het water zijn zo mooi diepe groen, net als het grasveld wat er voor ligt. De buiging in de rivier versterkt de compositie, net als de huizen die er langs staan.
Vind dit een mooie plaat, zelfs als het weer somber is, de kleuren zijn prachtig.

La pluie ne t'empęche pas de nous proposer un trčs beau cliché de ce paysage avec de belles couleurs. Le regard suit bien le cours d'eau.

Wonderful sweeping shot, with the river coiming around the frame and guiding us into the scene. The dark clouds have a real sense of foreboding - like you, I hope the rain holds off until Monday, but it will probably be the sun that doesn't appear until then. Great shot and have a nice weekend!

I'm often surprised when I see photos taken in rain about how clear and sharp they seem to turn out. This one looks quite bright. Nicely composed with the view up the curving river.

Hi Gerrit,
A very moody picture of the Maas banks with a beautiful curve to trace the perspective, the light over the darker cloudy background is lovely and although I find the greens a bit too saturated this one is clearly the best among the last images you have posted, see it does not require much, just be at the right place at the right moment and do the right thing, as you did with the mother and two kids some time ago.

So nice light conditions gives more nice tones to the colours.
The point you choose for the shot is best for the perspective through the river.I like it very much!

A nice perspective looking down the curve of the river at this nicely balanced composition. The rain drops on the water are very well captured and the muted tones very pleasing. Very good sharpness. They say rain is good the garden in England, but then again it's always raining there or almost ;-) Have a good weekend.

The luminosity is beautiful and there are nice color contrasts between the gray sky/water and the vivid green of the grass. I like the different tones of green of the vegetation, the curve made by the river, the saturated colors and the framing.

It is possible to see the gray and rainy environment in this beautiful landscape. The curve of the river is very attractive and gives us a perspective that turns towards the left side, in a good graphical touch.
The colors are magnificent, spring and vivid, with a resolved well exposure.

Niet zo'n schitterend weer precies, maar toch heb je een schitterend foto kunnen vastleggen. Ik vind de belichting hier erg mooi en de kleuren zijn schitterend. Prachtig POV met mooie details. Schitterend werk, Gerrit!
