Photographer’s Note

View from rowingclub RIC over the Amstel and the modern complex around the highest tower in Amsterdam: the Rembrandt tower, which can be seen from everywhere around Amsterdam.
In the front every pole is occupied by a carmoran, a fishing bird, that was endangered in the 70'ies of the 20th century but is now becoming a real city bird, in the footsteps of the grey heron.
