Photographer's Note

Last week i´ve spent 3 days in Tiradentes,
and i got the feeling i was travelling back in time, that´s the reason for the title. I live in Sao Paulo, which is the second largest urban area in the world, and the fifth most populated city, you can imagine it´s a city were tall buildings are the rule, most people use buses, metro, motorbikes or cars, a few use bikes mostly to save $... and you never ever see people on horses...
Tiradentes is small colonial town, population 5000, all streets look like this one on the photo, all houses are simple and very well kept,
irregular, cobble stone streets complete the picture,
and most people use bikes, horses, or walk around to go from one place to another... there are a few cars and it´s mostly tourists´.
It´s a beautiful place to relax, feel like going back in time at least 30-40 years, and take photos.

- i may have been taking a portrait using portrait settings when i saw this woman coming by on a bike with her daughter, i hardly had enough time to turn around & catch her before they were too far away, and i may have forgotten to change the Aperture setting... as someone said, the sun had already set and i prefer not to use flash... so that may explain the lack of definition... sorry about that! still learning...
