Yuyuan Gardens West entrance. One of the top 5 attractions of Shanghai, it's a lot of fun, albeit a little crowded. Free too, with no entry fees.

Very compo for this amazing entrance. The guy just walking into the shot on the right makes it for me. I think a slight just to correct perspective distortion would have been worth it, but only slightly off.

The very red gate makes for a strong and interesting 'framing' of this park entrance. Good capture, good lead into the park, well done.

Wow, this sure is one of the "reddest" shots I've seen in a while :o) The amount of shapes and details is almost dizzying and the photo definitely takes some time to be absorbed, but it is really great, and your composition also builds a good perspective into the "Gardens". Agree with the other comments about the woman just walking into the scene at the right, she's great. Good shot.

Beautiful brilliant colours, Chris. You have captured the tumultuousness of the place with this very busy picture. Good composition with the rows of red lanters framing the view. I wonder what's in the gardens?

Hi Chris,
A nice red compo with the lanterns creating an interesting pattern. The entrance lead the viewer to where is the crowd, walking towards the gardens.
