Hello, Stephane--
The juxtaposition of the child and the skyscrapers works well--the similarity in the upright, rigid stance of the child and the strong verticals of the tall buildings relate to each other well. The focus looks to be spot on, and the near-backlighting is handled well to keep detail in the child.

You're photo speaks volumes! Brillant expression on the boy's face. I like that the focus is squarely on him, rather then the background beyond... it gives the photo a wonderful atmosphere. TFS

Une photo qui me rappelle mon enfance! :o)
J'aime la façon dont ce petit garçon se tient droit comme un "i", bien attentif au jeu afin d'ętre pręt ŕ réagir lorsque la balle se présentera dans sa direction. L'arričre plan avec les gratte-ciel qui se dessinent sur le ciel blanc ne laisse pas de doute sur le lieu de prise de vue.

Interesting contrast with the far away mirage. Even the white sky works well for me in this composition. Nice pose of the kid to hold the scene.

Bonjour Stéphane,

Il se tient droit dans ses baskets ce petit jeune homme !!! Lŕ on ne peut pas se tromper de continent, nous sommes bien aux States... Trčs belle et agréable lumičre dans ta photo et un bon arričre plan qui met bien en relief le sujet, j'aime beaucoup. Le format est impeccable je trouve. Beau boulot, bravo Stéphane.

Il a l'air trčs fier ce petit et se tient bien droit, en attendant la balle. La lumičre illumine bien le parc et la face de l'enfant et je trouve interessant le bokeh progressif. les gratte ciel font un bon contraste avec l'avant plan.

Bonjour Stéphane,
une bonne composition avec ce travail de superposition de l'enfant en jouant baseball au merveilleux Central Park, sur un arričre-plan estompé de la ville et ses gratte-ciel avec apparence de peinture.
Le graphisme obtenu est trčs bon et attractif, de plus, la lumičre et les couleurs sont parfaites.
Une trčs belle photo, c'est l'authentique style américain de vie, c'est New York.
