Shy Penguins but Curious Photo

Decided last Saturday it was time again to visit our beautiful coast line and offcourse starting point had to be the Boulders Penguin Colony. The images following this one will be posted as part of a Theme.
this image captures the mother who is trying to encourage her baby to see the penquins, although baby is not quite keen the African Penguin certainly is. Penguins are generally shy however can be very curious at times...

Boulders Penguin Colony, Cape Town

Boulders Penguin Colony is home to a growing colony of the vulnerable African Penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view the penguins in their natural habitat and there is also a new information centre. Children will love the penguins and their antics and Boulders Beach is also worth a stop for safe and enjoyable swimming.

Hi Lynette,
Beautiful shot showing connections both between mother and child as well as penguins and people. Such can't be seen in many places so you are privileged. Strong light makes the rocks almost look like glacier edge, which first comes to ming from penguins, but not in Africa.

Hello Lynette!
so you're back? with 2 pictures in 2 days? cool!
The strong blue color of the sky is doing a good job at punching the colors in the thumbnail, inciting us to open your picture.
The penguin facing us is really the master piece in your shot. He's the center of attention. The light was quite harsh as we can see looking at the rock, but you seem to have managed it well on the characters. I like seeing both men and wild animals in a same scene!

Ha ha ha this is a nice capture with the valuable note making it full circle :)
I have a 9mths old kid & I just can feel the situation you were in...
but last but not the least is the quality of the image, its composition & the POV...
