Photographers Note

It was taken in Hazar (Golcuk) lake in Elazig. Hazar is a tectonic lake and it is about 25 km from Elazig.
It is the major summer resort area of the region and called as Bodrum of the Eastern Anatolia.
Elazığ'a 25 Km uzaklıkta ve tektonik bir göl olan Hazar'da (Gölcük)çekildi. Hazar gölü bölgenin temel sayfiye alanını oluşturmakta ve doğunun Bodrumu diye anılmaktadır.

şiir gibi olmuş gerçekten... uzun pozlama büyülü hale getirmiş gölü de kayığı da... pastel renkler, yumuşak ışık nefis... kare hafif sağa yatık gibi dursa da güzelliğinden birşey kaybetmiyor bence, tebrikler cem...

Merhaba Cem,
you managed to bring in a great atmosphere with this shot. What amazed me is the boat which looks placed on the ice instead of the lake's water. The soft tones emphasize the beauty of this compo, which is simple but very effective and well presented. I'm not sure but it looks tilted or maybe is just the perspective..anyway..I like it.

Gölün durgunluğu ve renklerin doğallığı çok hoş,suyun içindeki çakıl taşları bile görülebiliyor.Sandalın varlığı ve yansıması komp.nu zenginleştirmiş.Bodrum gibi ama çevre iyi korunmuşa benziyor.Teşekkürler tanıtımınız için

Yillar once bir kez orada gole girmis ve balik yemistim yanilmiyorsam 1991 yiliydi. Hazar Baba ile ilgili hikayeyi dinlemistim. Simdi bu fotograla tekrar o gunlere dondum, bunun icin oncelikle tesekkurler. Ama bunun yanisira kompozisyonu, renkleri ve atmosferi ile cok basarili bir fotograf olmus. tebrik ederim

Hello Cem,
It's a wonderful composition and location, and the boat is well positioned in the frame. The image certainly portrays the feeling of peacefulness and tranquility, but I believe it's let down by the quite severe angle of the horizon. Lighting and soft colours are excellent.

incredible mood that you captured here! It seems that the 6s of shutter aperture provided you a nice silky and smooth water surface. The boat is nicely placed in the composition. Your shot could be simply perfect if not for the significant tilt to the right.
