1 Day trek to Langebaan West Coast by Lynette Graham (1615) 2006-08-31 - 2006-09-06

Today 31st August 2006, I am heading for a day out to Langebaan rich in heritage to view the famous wild flowers (Tapestry of Colours) including the world famous Langebaan Lagoon this is the meeting place of extreme-water sports enthusiasts, bird lovers, nature lovers and has become the most bustling tourist center on the West Coast. But today I am following hundreds of people to this sleepy town to view the spectacular wild flowers so often spoken about that bloom only once a year during September and October. ...
