Photographers Note
The concept of danish *hygge* is totally unique, one has to visit Denmark in order to understand it. The closest you can come to an english word for hygge would be cozyness, but this translation doesn´t do the concept justice. There is a whole extra dimension to it which cant really be described... but it includes welfare, tons of love, nice music in the background and lots and lots of candles... dont forget the candles :)
I have been living in DK for some years now and I have come to truly apprechiate and become addicted on danish hygge :)
Fx, on X-mas day the family gathers and everybody makes X-mas cookies, or konfekt in danish, using melted black and white chocolate, marcipan, nougat, almonds ect.. it takes couple of hours, during which everything smells of melted chocolate, that, I might add, also can be used as body paint! :D
These tiny acqward looking fellows were the best i could do this x-mas, but i had soooo much fun making them :) They didnt taste too bad either!
Merry X-mas and Happy New Year to everybody on TE!

Hi Ana
Like the image but its icing hats appear a little too bright, so :
crop - bit disturbed by the fellow with the straight face on the right which I think does not fit in with Danish Hygge. He had to go ;-)
selective shadow/highlight - to try and remove the burnt out area.
select all shadow/highlight - bring out some of the details on the black surface.
hue/saturation - Saint patricks day tommorow so green hats instead of yellow, :)
resize
unsharp mask
add borders
My first workshop so forgive me if I've made amess of it. Hope you like.
Andy
