Good job! Nice to see something decent from Statesville finally on TrekEarth! I would have cropped out the house (and satellite dish) from this photo, but the colors are very nice and the curve of the fence is easy on the eyes!

Beautiful exposure and focus. I would have rotated it ever so slightly to get an even horizon line.

I'm dying to know: did you take this from a moving vehicle, or actually get out and stand on the shoulder of the interstate? Great pic!

Hello - just a few things. First, please add a photographer's note: what are we looking at and why? Secondly, I don't think the tree in the bottom right is doing you any favors. In fact, it looks like it is hiding some nice, circular rippling in the water that would have added to the overall effect. The horizion/shoreline IS level - nice job! - that's one of my pet peeves for nature shots. Decent depth of field here, and nice colors (although the sky looks a little unusual: did you retouch?). Hope this is helpful...!

It's an interesting shot, but it took me a while to figure out what I was seeing. I think it could be improved by cropping out the distracting stuff in the right 1/4 of the picture.

Wonderful depth of field and shadows. Took me a while to notice the peopele on the far right (also in focus - nice job!).
