Hi Wichard, The background is barely visible, though we can understand that photo immediatly and without the need of any explanation. That's the sign of a high photographic quality. The point of view, the composition are excellent. The message is clear. The yellowish dominant is a little too strong for my taste, but that is a very personnal feeling I'm sure. Excellent image. Bonne journée, Pascal.

Hi Oleg, I have to say, that image is amazing. The village on the foreground show us the dimension of the phenomenon. It is just too bad that the light was not spotting on the village instead of the background, but I can understand that under such conditions it is not possible to wait for the light to come. Interesting and spectacular photo.

Pascal.

Hi, The darkness and the very visible noise (due to high ISO settings I suppose) strengthen the dramatic effect of the sand storm here. I think you almost made a good photo about reporting the ambiance of people still playing during the storm. What could have been improved here to my opinion is the point of view. For example there is one standing person just in line behind the boy on the bicycle. The eye is attracted by that boy but that person behind is disturbing. I think the guy standing on the far right of the photo is a little disturbing too. Either put him more inside the frame, or leave it totally out, but not half like this. Well that's just my humble opinion. Hope it helps.

Hi Arvin, After a visit around your gallery, this is the photo I prefer so far. The light is nice, and the dog sitting in the water adds a funny touch. He is sitting just below the hole in the sky. If I can give an advice, please try to keep the horizon .. horizontal, especially when there is some water in the frame. It is not always the case in some of your photos. Bonne journée, Pascal.

Hi, Excellent ambiance image. The blurry person is perfectly framed. The light and colors are rendering very well the underground atmosphere. And there is a fun idea. Definately one of the best photos I have seen today. And oh .. I almost forget to tell you .. that tilt is great, keep that tilt, I love it. Bonne journée, Pascal.

Hi Michael, The combination of the ground color and the sky looking like it is in fire works perfectly. Your title is well found. Not only it is a good image by itself, but I have to say it is a quite original point of view at Geysir, very different from the photos people usually take from that place. Congratulation for the idea. Bonne journée, Pascal.
