Hello Tiffany, This is a very nice and well composed photo. It is beautiful. I would like to offer a suggestion if you don't mind. If you photograph a scene like this again, try stopping the aperture down to F/16 and adding a circular polarizer or a neutral density filter. This will enable you to slow down the shutter speed and create a blurry effect for the water and it would give you more depth-of-field which would sharpen the trees in the background. You would need a tripod for this technique. This would give this excellent photo of yours a different rendition. Sometimes the softer effect of the moving water gives this type of image a more compelling rendition. This is an old photography trick. Stan

Hello Tosca, This is a simple, tightly composed and utterly gorgeous shot! Good job of exposure and not cluttering up the composition with unecessary limbs and other details. I am very impressed with this image! Stan

Hello Denis, This is a wonderful photo. You have captured the traditional dance (I am sure that these costumes are native to this particular part of France)beautifully and I love the expressions on the dancers' faces. The background architecture tells us something about the character of this area. Very impressive photo! Stan

Hello William, This is the first critque that I have done on TE in over four years. I like the high angle of this photo which gives us a good sense of this attractive building and the beauty of the Riviera. Your photo makes want to go here someday. Good work. Stan

Hi Tom, Wonderful shot of this restored old covered bridge. This must be one of the finest covered bridges in the USA. I have only see one covered bridge in my life and it was in Oregon. It was no match for this beauty, however. Beautiful portrait of this architectual masterpiece! (Covered bridges, barns and fire engines are supposed to be red). Stan

Hi Pat, You sure get this beautiful soft, warm late afternoon lighting at the beach. Your composition and lighting is exceptional and the girl is perfectly placed on the right side of the frame. Beautiful shot! Stan

Hi Kath, You have the most unusual African Safari travel series that I have ever seen. I wasn't expecting to see a seafaring image. This is a great shot and and excellent addition to your series and an outstanding job of mixing up your wide variety of subject matter. You must be a very well rounded and versatile person to have taken such a diversity of subject matter. I believe that our personalities always show up in our photography. I am sure that you have some more surprises in store for us! Stan

Hi Greg, Your lighting was made to order! I can't imagine having better lighting for this fabulous image. A beautiful and stunning photograph which looks more like a painting where the artist carefully mixed up the perfect colors on his pallette. Just outstanding work! Stan

Hi Kristaps, When the storm clouds clear in Ecuador the lighting is fantastic! The air is so clear there with no sign of air pollution at all. A very good composition with great lighting. Ecuador has about the strangest climate that I have ever heard of and your travelogue has made me feel that I have already visited this country. This travelogue of yours and Kristine's is my favorite Trek Earth travel series of all time! Stan
