It is the river which gives Edirne its calm. It is the Varanasi of Turkey. It is why you feel so good there.....it is why this picture came out so beautifully... I saw this and missed Edirne....:)and at last I see that an ED lens will make this camera worth something..:-)

Fusun, The west goes on and on so much about Islam and how women and girls are treated in an inferior fashion.....well not with the Gujjars of the indian Himalayas....here the two grandfathers picked up their grandaughter ....not their grandson for the picture...I loved the pride with which they did this...and it made me remember the Sangla trip like it was yesterday! Eskellent shot...superb clarity....and I was waiting for this shot to show up for weeks now!!

Somehow as "civilized" people always sit on chairs one loses the articulation in ones limbs to squat so small! A simple life often allows us the use of our limbs far longer...keeping away the arthiritis...:-) Like the motion blur on his hands too...as if there is an urgency to hide the treasure before someone takes some away! Eskellant!

Superb arm action by the little bowler....we start them young in India as the footballers do in Istanbul! I love this shot ....maybe because its home to me...mostly because I saw you take it!!! The board "places" the picture...better than a GPS reading in my opinion!! Great note. Eskellant!

The postpro bug seems to have got you....and frames too...welcome to TE's subtle but certain role in your evolution as a postpro dependent! You should experiment on colour postpro as its far more demanding...and then turn that skill to BW's with great effect once you mature in that arena. Halos arrive as a result of too little feathering when you select areas you want to play with. A great picture essentially....shabaash putar. Whats with the "Sohrabibi" revelation...cross dressing???:-)

Excellent picture....I agree with you about Manali...its changed since I first saw it 1975! However strangely enough its like a man whose clothes are old and tattered now but his spirit is unchanged under the filthy exterior! It has soul. Because it is nestled in the lap of the Himalaya..and it has the beautiful Bipasha running through it...destroying and giving Manali its life at the same time!

Belle lumičre ! Les préparations typiques pour un mariage indien dans une petite ville... juste une chose... Agra est dans uttar pradesh et pas pradesh de Madhya... que vous pourriez aimer pour faire la correction ! Regards Vijay
