    Hello Malgo,

I cannot imagine how you can tell the real from the fake. Maybe asking for money for photographs is a clue!

For your purpose, these all look very convincing, sharply revealed.
The one in the animal print looks quite scary, his eyes look bloodshot as well as staring.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Mariusz,

This is a completely different style of photograph compared with that shown by Aires. Both excellent in their own way.
I like how you have made this a very competent, symmetrical composition, so that the curved features become well emphasised in their fanlike patterns. The golden effect on the roof is very eye-catching.
You have achieved a fine sense of depth.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello John,

This is an excellent piece of observation to turn the creek and surrounding trees into such a fine piece of artistry.
The leaning trees are very texturally detailed, with a fine illumination from the low sun, around their bases.
The reflections of the trunks, in the creek, seems to give the photograph a whole new sense of dimension, like a depth into the water!
As always, you have created a fine linear perspective.

    Have a good day,
    Bev :-)

    Hola Luis,

The cable car ride was the perfect spot from which to obtain this amazing view of the bridge, as it curves smoothly over the river. It looks so fluid, so light, for a large large construction!
I like how you have placed it so well in the frame, with enough surrounding details to give the bridge a sense of place.

    Hello Ike,

This is a car meant to attract attention! It is huge and showy, with the colours of its roof nicely repeated in the wheel trims.
I wonder how well it would survive on the narrow lanes, where I live!
You have captured its size, shape and beauty very well in this carpark show.

    Hello Paul,

I read your notes and studied your photographs with interest.
In a place which is frequented by many tourists and where most people have very little, it is not really surprising that there are charlatans, eager to deceive people and sustain a successful living!
The sadhus look very convincing, in their colourful attire and painted faces; it must be very difficult to determine which are real and which fake. There will have to be a certain amount of trust between the tourist and the guide to determine who is 'real'.

Whatever the circumstances, if you had been unaware of this desire of some to deceive, you would have been perfectly happy with this photograph, well composed, colourful and rekindling memories of a place so different from home. (I thought sadhus went barefoot and this man has a pair of sandals in the b/g. Could that be a clue?)

I read your notes and those of Kasia (earlier) and enjoyed the narrative very much. I doubt I will ever go to Tibet or Nepal but I certainly enjoy sharing your adventures.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Witaj Krzysztof,

This is a very attractive manor house, with its pale exterior and red roof. The pillars and steps to the entrance give it a sense of grandeur. It is very sharply captured in your photograph.
I wonder if it would have been possible to photograph the house between the trees, so that they bordered the image, rather than slightly obscuring it.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Pierre,

This is definitely not a touristy scene, it is an interesting street scene, capturing busy people going about their work. Down turned heads suggest that they are not happy with the weather, though for you, it has provided a wet, reflective atmosphere.

    Hello John,

The two athletes look very happy to be photographed.
Despite their obvious movement, you have photographed them very sharply, against a b/g which is useful and blurred.
The swinging hair gives a very good inference of movement.

I wonder if this is a first!
I don't remember seeing this bird previously!
By your stealth, you have captured a very well composed, sharp exposure of the bird and its fight with the octopus.

    Hello Jorge,

What you describe sounds like a very important, religious ritual. The facade of the church is well captured and well placed in your composition.
The adjoining street appears very steep, leading to the palace.

I always like to remove lens distortion as much as possible, though I know many prefer to leave it. I have done a little w/s with lens distortion removed. I hope you like it and are not offended.

    Kind regards,
    Bev :-)

    Ciao Caro Silvio,

The village looks beautiful, bathed in the sunlight, beyond a steep, scree slope, mostly in shadow.

    I love pasta!
You can imagine I was interested in your photograph!
I cannot help but think that this reminds me of a herd of sheep, closely packed, with fluffy, white wool on their heads.

Nature has such beauty where you might least expect it!
The shapes and patterns are surprising.
Have you noticed how the fungus is similar in hues to those of the rotting tree?
Your photograph is so sharp that you could have done a workshop just focussing in on the fungus, as a w/s, without a problem.

    Hello Murat,

This is a fine , sharp composition of a subject which makes me feel humble! How sad, that people have to be reliant for titbits off others!
I remember in Pakistan, how a woman was selling toilet paper outside the toilet complex, when it was available inside for free. We all paid more than was necessary ... does it make us feel good!!!
