fantastic light. and yep, southern europe is really busting with life. you can somehow hide it on photos, but in real life it is very crowded and noisy. thankfully, old town of toledo is actually very pleasant and especially at night can be incredibly charming.

Just love this viewpoint and the feeling of everyday life passing by. The colourful flowers make the scene 'buzz' a little as well.

I like the portrait style used her. The detailed curved rows of pots lead the eye up to the potter in the mid-grand and the saffron robed woman in the sunshine provides a delightful splash of colour. Overall a real delight.

A colourful slice of life (& death). I'm glad you've included the state of the river. To my western sensitivity I was surprised by the rubbish along this holy river (and the children swimming in it just downstream from the ghats).

Another fine photo giving a glimpse of the landscape from valley to mountain top with all its contrasts. I especially appreciate that the use HDR is subtle rather than popping out of the scene.
